Core Aeration Done once or twice a year, this will make your lawn come alive. It can breathe again as water and nutrients can reach the roots. 
Mechanically creating holes in the turf by removing cores and placing them on the surface of the grass. This process makes the grass say “AHHHH!” by allowing the grass to breathe. It aids in the transfer of air, water, and nutrients to the root system. It does this by breaking up compacted soil. It also limits water run off. Even soil that is not hard can be dense and this treatment helps. It not only allows for the lawn root system to be deeply watered but also allows it not to stay too wet. This process improves thin turf and helps thick turf to stay healthy. It is recommended that this be done once a year. The only thing better than a single aeration is two in a year with one to two months between aeration. Also ask us about cross aeration and aeration coupled with fertilizing and or lime. |
